Suppression Systems Service

We service and install kitchen hood suppression systems and industrial paint booth systems. We service Range Guard, Ansul, Pyro-Chem, Kidde and Industrial Guard systems. In addition, we are an authorized dealer for Range Guard and Industrial Guard systems. Our Service Technicians can design and install a system to meet your specific needs.

The kitchen hood suppression systems are required to be tested semi-annually per NFPA 17 fire code standards. A kitchen hood suppression systems inspection may include the following:

Testing remote pulls.
Testing automatic (trip test) and manual release of system.
Verifying the mechanical operation of the system.
Verifying gas or electrical shutoff.
Replacing fusible links when required or when applicable.
Checking the system components for cleanliness.
Verifying that make up air shuts down.
Verifying the system activated the alarm (if applicable).
Installing new tamper seals.
Removing the cylinder, verifying the agent weight and condition.
Verifying cylinder/cartridge pressure, weight, and hydrostatic test dates.
Verifying piping/bracing to the manufacturer's specifications.
Verifying that the nozzle caps are intact.
Installing a record tag.
Inspecting and verifying all nozzles are properly aimed, free of blockage and have proper blow-off caps installed.

Additional testing may be required depending on the system.
