Service
RCI Systems Inc. has one of the valley’s largest Service departments. All of our technicians are CSA certified and are required to undergo extensive training through nationally recognized associations in order to obtain their certification. Our Service department services businesses throughout the state of Arizona.
Our technicians are on call 24 hours a day for your emergency needs.
Design
The Design Department at RCI Systems, Inc. prides itself on creating the most professional, efficient and complete designs for our field employees. The use of new technologies and methods as well as the implementation of the latest adopted fire codes to optimize our installations are all considered when producing a system design.
Our Design Department management team has accumulated experience totaling over 45 years in the Metro Phoenix area and we pride ourselves on our professional relationships with the various municipalities and the authorities in those Fire Departments. Our Design management staff holds Level IV and Level III NICET certification in automatic fire sprinkler system layout. We encourage the pursuit of knowledge in fire protection or Engineering wherever it can be acquired, including NICET certification as well Professional degrees from the collegiate system. We participate in on-line training from our trade associations to supplement the on the job learning experience.
We have currently completed or are in the final stages of completing designs on two major high rise buildings in downtown Phoenix with similar projects on the way. We regularly design pre-action systems and recently completed a large facility with multiple systems for a computer server facility. Some of our other projects have included work for the mining industry in Arizona as well as working with ADOT on the new legs of the San Tan Freeway. Our work and the industrial properties we protect are diverse and constantly offer new design challenges.
Because the fire protection industry was initially insurance driven, there are very few colleges that offer training or education in Fire Protection Systems Design. Most people currently in the industry have been trained on the job. RCI Systems, Inc. offers long term on the job training and education to advance individuals in the fascinating and challenging field of fire protection systems layout and hydraulic calculation.
