Optima

Optima Camelview Village is an upscale condominium community located on 13 acres in Scottsdale. This project consists of nine seven story and two six story residential buildings including over 700 individual condominium units. The community also has approximately 500,000 sq ft of parking in a garage that covers the entire site below grade and below the buildings.

This project consisted of a standpipe system for the entire site fed from one fire pump. The residential units were piped in plastic pipe with all the retail and parking areas done in steel pipe. The majority of the piping was some of our most complicated pipe routing RCI Systems, Inc. has ever completed.

In order to achieve the maximum ceiling heights possible, the beam structure on all of the buildings has holes cut in each of the beams for all the overhead mechanical, electrical and fire protection to run through. Camelview Village offers residents amenities such as the 24,000-square-foot clubhouse and fitness center with an indoor pool, spas and a party room with a caterer’s kitchen.

The Summit

The Summit at Copper Square is project we are proud to be associated with. As the tallest residential development in metro Phoenix, The Summit at Copper Square is a 24 story high rise condo building located in the heart of downtown Phoenix.

The Summit at Copper Square has five floors of parking, one level of Retail, and 18 floors of urban loft-style residences.

One of the many unique features about the project is the parking garage.

The parking garage has parking spots with car lifts enabling residents to park two cars in one parking spot. The project required a highly sophisticated fire sprinkler system in order to meet the demands of the parking garage.

In order to accomplish this feat, we installed an extra hazard Group II system in the basement. In addition, a fire pump was required due to the height of the building.
